We purchased Waterfall Mill with the vision of giving life back to one of Blackburn’s landmarks. As a busy and expanding business it became difficult to project manage the alterations on top of continuing our normal business needs. With such an old building it was inevitable to uncover secrets which needed some additional TLC. This meant the project was taking much longer than anticipated. I asked the universe to help me out, and the next day Barry and Mike from DES introduced themselves! New designs were drawn and our vision quickly started to become real! Work was never just ‘done’. Consideration was given how to do it best without disruption to other work and within budget. Each professional or worker involved in the project were dedicated, friendly and worked to a great standard. It enabled us to keep doing what we do best, and Friday’s became pie-day for anyone working onsite. Barry and Dave went above and beyond, providing invaluable support to help us overcome obstacles which we didn’t anticipate. Barry and the D.E.S. Group have been on hand to support us since we’ve opened back in 2021. From roller shutters, ice machines and heating systems. The friendly team have been helpful, attentive and no job is too big or small. They even get their hoover out. Haha! D.E.S. Group supply, install and do maintenance and all our fittings.
